Cal Conference 2025 | Follow What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus? The biblical understanding of “following” is less about where we are going, but who we are becoming. In following Jesus, we are sharing in the life and ministry of Jesus. He has become everything to us—we are fully decided and undivided in our devotion to Him. And we strive to be Jesus to the broken world around us. We are called to follow the Words, Life, Calling, and Example of Jesus. Jesus calls to each of us: “Come, follow Me” (Mark 1:17).
