In Matthew 20, Jesus tells the story of a landowner who goes out at dawn to hire workers for his vineyard. Then he goes again at nine, at noon, at three, and again at five — still looking, still inviting. That’s the picture I can’t get away from. Our God is always working, and He is always making room for more people to join Him in it.
That’s what Heart for the House is. It isn’t a building campaign; it’s an invitation. The building is a tool — the gospel is the goal. Every square foot is simply room for a family to find a home, for a student to meet Jesus, for someone who is hurting to be reminded they aren’t alone. We’re not building a destination. We’re making space at the table.
So here’s my ask: move from consumer to contributor. From transactional to transformational. Give cheerfully, as you’ve decided in your heart — not under compulsion — whether that’s a dollar a month or the largest gift you’ve ever given. Every one of them matters. And when God extends the invitation, may we have the heart of Isaiah: “Here I am, Lord. Send me.”

We recommend setting up recurring gifts. Recurring gifts help our church wisely plan for the use of resources and manage cash balances.

Why Give?
God is always working — and always inviting
In John 5, Jesus says His Father is always at work. He doesn’t need us to accomplish it, but He invites us into it anyway — the way a father hands his kid a tool just to keep him close. Giving is how we answer that invitation. It isn’t a transaction or a membership fee; it’s a response to the most generous Giver the world has ever known. Every gift, from a child’s dollar a month to a family’s largest gift ever, is a way of saying: count me in.

Why This, Why Now?
From consumers to contributors
This season is an investment and an invitation. The new space makes room for families, kids, and students, while our current building is repurposed for student ministry and staff. But the finish line isn’t a ribbon cutting — it’s the start of a new chapter of ministry. We’re asking every person to move from consumer to contributor, from transactional to transformational, and to help make room for the next person who walks through our doors looking for a home.
